Wooden Shoe Rescue

The project for the Central Iowa Christian Schools Marching Band.was to replace broken and unusable pairs of wooden shoes and refinish all the other existing wooden shoes. 80 pairs of new wooden shoes were purchased, painted, and finished, as were the 142 remaining pairs of wooden shoes which were still serviceable.

“The shoes looked so much brighter, cleaner, and professional. For our students it instilled additional pride as they marched in the Tulip Time parade. To see hear the clip clop of 150+ students marching together is, indeed, a stunning sight for residents of Pella and visitors.
